A national disaster medicine meeting
On September 12th to 13th, KMC and Centre for Research on Healthcare in Disasters at KI organised a national meeting on disaster medicine at the Center for Disaster Medicine and Traumatology.
The aim of the meeting was to gather around questions concerning disaster medicine, including the state of disaster medicine and education in Sweden today and in the future. Day two of the meeting focused solely on questions regarding research and education. A decision was made to continue the organisation of disaster medicine meetings in Sweden, with meetings once every term. KI and Center for Military Medicine in Gothenburg are organising the coming meetings. The organisers thank all participants and presenters for two rewarding days!
