Background:
Emergo Train System (ETS) is a simulation-based educational tool designed to train and evaluate healthcare and emergency response systems in managing major incidents. It supports experiential and organizational learning by simulating processes such as decision-making, coordination, and resource management.

Objective:
To evaluate an ETS-based training exercise conducted with fire and rescue service officers, focusing on improving decision-making capacity at different command levels.

Results:
A total of 30 participants took part in the exercise. Survey results indicated high levels of perceived realism, clarity, and relevance of the scenarios, with mean scores generally above 4 on a 5-point scale. Participants reported strong alignment with learning objectives and applicability to real-world situations. ETS was perceived as a valuable complement to traditional training, enhancing visualization and supporting structured feedback. However, gains in new theoretical and practical knowledge were somewhat lower compared to other areas.
